Hello My Friends

This has been the year from hell.

My side job has been a disaster. Issue after issue after issue. Finally I just gave up and quit.

But I immediately started another job. The problem is it won’t pay as much an hour, but it is more hours. So I replaced my income with about twice the income, but with more work taking up more of my time.

I am again trying to adjust to all the changes, and get back into a routine that works for me, plus dealing with less time for running my personal life.

At the same time, barring any surprises, my financial problems should finally start clearing up. That means one source of stress will be clearing up. And the stress from my previous side gig won’t be causing issues anymore, relieving that stress.

What does that mean for The Secret of the Island?

That means the last two weeks I got nothing done with the VN. But I am starting to adjust, and the next couple weeks I don’t expect to get much done. So I plan on skipping the next update. (Sorry) Unless I have news.

So I will see you in a month, hopefully with some progress.
