I was born to make adult visual novels.
I have 3 interests that mesh really well into visual novels. I like computers and have a passing interest in coding.
I like to write
I am creative and at one time I was up for a college scholarship due to my art skill. Although that fell through when a tiny human came out of my art teacher at the time.
But my problem with all of these is that attempting any one of them as a career would drive me bonkers. Coding is fun, until it isn't. Writing is great until I get tired of it. And my art was always more of a hobby that made a lot of people jealous. I did it for fun, and never wanted it to become work, or a job.
Visual Novels combine all three interests, but in a way that lets me jump from one aspect to another. When I find the art is getting to me, I write. When I find writing is too boring, I code. (Yes that would confuse many of you.)
Doing it this way helps keep it fun, and keeps me from burning out on any one piece of the VN puzzle.
My only problem is that I am not so great at promotion. That part isn't fun, and seems like it takes time away from my projects. but if I don't promote, nobody will know about my visual novels.
So I need to keep up on my Itch page, my Patreon, and my SubscribeStar accounts.
