Hello My Friends

Well, I finally finished the third scene, leaving just one more.

Took way, way, way too long.

My Current State

Once again, I need to get into personal crap, but it is relevant.

Right now we have both good and bad things going on. Things are far from perfect, be we have hit a few goals, and another couple are about to fall in the next 3 months, assuming we don’t hit another financial surprise.

At the same time, after about 2+ years working day and night with only one evening off is getting to me. My stress levels are through the roof.

At this point I will be taking one more evening off. I’d love to have more time off, but I am hoping that is enough.

Starting next week I will take a week off of working on The Secret of the Island, and another evening, and just get a little R&R.

The hope is that a week with 2 R&R evenings will help me to regain focus.

After this my plan is to spend 3 evenings ever 2 weeks working on my Visual Novel, and taking one evening to just veg out and do nothing.

The Next Scene

The previous scenes were supposed to be fairly easy, and yet they turned out to be more work than I expected. The amount of screw ups didn’t help. Might have had something to do with overworking myself.

The biggest issue is that I need to build yet another prop. Something from the series. I thought about cheating and buying something somebody else made, but it wouldn’t be Gilligan’s Island. I want my parody to match the show as much as possible.  

Final Thoughts

Too many of my recent posts have been about fixing stupid mistakes. I am sure that getting burned out was probably behind that.

I am sure that getting a couple evenings of R&R, and then an extra day every other week will hopefully speed up my progress.
