Picked up the pace this week.

This week was focused on art.

Story – A better plan

I have made decisions as to how I am organizing the visual novel. (VN) I have written more of the core story, but I’m still on the first day.

Code (i.e., Ren’Py) - Still building the core

Working on adjusting the code, but may keep things more simplistic to speed up the work. It does what I want it to do and that is the most important. I did little work on the code this week as I focused on art.

Art – Characters adjusted – updated old scenes

I believe the characters are better. They will never be perfect, but as I have stated before there has to be a stopping point. You can see the biggest change with Ginger. I didn’t do any work with Mr. Howell or The Professor.

Earlier this week I mentioned to my supporters that I was going to attempt to finish updating all the old scenes with the updated characters by the time I post this. That became an issue when I had to go out of town on Friday. But I also realized that the differences were mostly noticeable with Ginger, so I decided to cut down to just changing Ginger… After a few others were changed that is.

Well as I write this I just finished up. (Not the promo image, but I will do that later.) From this point on I will be working on the future updates, not fixing old stuff.

Final Thoughts:

I’m moving forward. I do wish I could go faster, but as I have said in the past, I won’t be cutting corners to make a “deadline”. I won’t be half-assing this project. It may not be perfect, but I will always try my best.0
