Hello my friends.

I often psot a weekly update on my progress and post it on SubscribeStar and Patreon. I am thinking maybe I should start posting it here too.

I was reluctant to post those updates on my previous project since I felt it was wrong to keep discussing another project that really had nothing to do with the first one. And until I had this project up, I didn't have a place to discuss it other than Patreon and Subscribestar. 

Anyway, this has been a 15-month journey for me. That is how long it took for me to put out this Prologue. Most of that time was spent creating the characters, and unfortunately, I started without any knowledge and barely any experience. When I took up this project it didn’t dawn on me that all the props were made on the island, or at least to look like they were made on the island, so that took me even more time.

I heard some comments about how Ginger looked, so I decided to take another stab at her, and I have already made some modifications that I believe make her look more accurate. I also decided to take another look at Mary Ann, so I may end up giving each character another look. 

I am trying to be careful though, because focusing on too much perfectionism is just a waste of time.I wouldn't' do this further out, but I believe I can modify the images without making significant changes. (I won't be George Lucas-ing my project.)

Be warned I tend to ramble

I will say that my updates seem a little longer than they should be. I may give more detail than I probably should. Some might like that while others might get bored with it. I sometimes mention the boring parts so people can skip those sections if they want to.

Goals

My goal is to produce the best visual novel I can. But at the same time, I know that and neither my time nor my finances are unlimited, so I will attempt to keep myself from going overboard.

To be clear, I am going to finish this. (Barring death or insanity.)

I also need to work on my updates. I hope I put enough humor into my visual novel, but I worry that my updates seem like they are written by an accountant. (No offense to the accountants out there, now back to your math you bunch of rapscallions.)

My goal is to keep getting better and better, and make each post surpass the one before it. I am not sure exactly how long this VN will run. I already have 3 different lengths in mind, depending on how popular this is. Also the last thing I want is for the story to get stale.
